Black Pearl is a 2023 Outback Wilderness that is Steve’s third Subie. It’s a relatively new car to Steve, so there are only minor cosmetic mods to the car. One is never done with modding, so there is always more to come.

This adventure showcases the surprising off-road capabilities of Subaru Wilderness models (Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek Wilderness), plus the Ascent, on some of AOAA’s most challenging green trails.

Charlie recently acquired his second Crosstrek, upgrading from a 2021 Premium to the Wilderness edition, nicknamed “Ironman” by his daughter. Impressed by its features, he has already embarked on camping trips in Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia, anticipating many more adventures with his new car.
