2025 OVERLANDING SHOWCASE SPOTLIGHT: Ken and Tasha and their 2023 Subaru Ascent Onyx Limited

With a love for Subaru and modified cars the Reas built their Ascent to transport their family, both human and 4 legged, on any adventure they go on. Beaches to mountains, camping to car shows, and everything in between, this Ascent is ready for it all.

To make sure they stand out in a crowd the Ascent was lifted 3½” with a combination of LP Aventure and Eibach components. Grip to tackle any terrain is provided by Toyo Open Country AT3 tires wrapped around matte black LP Aventure LP6 wheels. Functionality was enhanced with a Prinsu Roof Rack to carry extra goodies on their travels. Visibility is enhance by Diode Dynamics lighting that turns night into day while adding to the aggressive styling. When extra storage is needed a Thule Motion XT XXL cargo box provides plenty of room for all the necessities. Making camping adventures more comfortable have been enhanced with the addition of an Overland Vehicle Systems 180 Awning and HD shower tent for extended trips. Recent addition of Nameless Performance 5″ mufflers give the 2.4L Boxer motor some extra growl without being obnoxious. When extra power is needed Cobb Tuning parts have been installed including an accessport, air intake, high flow filter and charge pipe.

Form and function were the goal of this build. Head turning looks with go anywhere attitude make this Ascent a standout in anywhere this family goes.
